About Us

Valerie Senter-Williams, NCPT

Valerie Senter-Williams, NCPT, has a BBA in marketing from TCU. She has over 37 years’ experience in the fitness field, having owned her own fitness business for over 20 years and her own Pilates studio for the last 16 years located in Gulf Breeze, FL. She has attended and completed required hours with Polestar Education, Powerhouse Pilates, and PhysicalMind Institute. Val is also a level 1, level 2 and level 3 Franklin Method Certified Instructor.

Val is certified as a Level 3 Educator by completing this certification course that consisted of 21 days of live and online sessions, evaluations, and supervised practical teaching from 03/2023-09/2023. The course encompassed postural and biomechanical imagery techniques for the joints, mobility of organs, organ kinematics and glandular systems.

Pilates by Val Studio is accredited by the Better Business Bureau and the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA).

James Williams, NCPT

James Williams, NCPT, is a graduate of the U.S. Army Physical Fitness School as a Master Fitness Trainer and is certified as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise. Jim has been practicing Pilates for over 15 years and has finished his comprehensive programs with Powerhouse Pilates, PhysicalMind Pilates

Institute, and the Pilates by Val Instructor Academy (PBVIA). He graduated from the Special Forces qualification course in 1983 and is proud to wear the Green Beret.
