Franklin Method explains how you can use imaging techniques to improve posture and alignment and release excess tension. In the workshops we explore the importance of posture and dynamic alignment, learn how to use imagery to affect body movement, gain an understanding of the biomechanical and anatomical principles behind imagery, discover how to use basic physics to create a strong yet fluid balance in your muscles and joints.

Accreditation: To become a Franklin Method Trainer or Educator, trainers must take classes and stay educated to receive a Franklin Method License. Valerie is currently Level 1 and Level 2 certified and working on Level 3 right now. The Level 1 course encompassed postural and biomechanical imagery techniques for the movement efficiency and balance of the pelvis, spine, shoulder and knee. Level 2 is encompassed on the muscles and fascia of the feet, abdominal area, pelvis and spine.

Valerie Senter-Williams, NCPT, has a BBA in marketing from TCU. She has over 37 years’ experience in the fitness field, having owned her own fitness business for over 20 years and her own Pilates studio for the last 16 years located in Gulf Breeze, FL. She has attended and completed required hours with Polestar Education, Powerhouse Pilates, and PhysicalMind Institute. Val is also a Franklin Method Pelvic Power and Spine Instructor. Pilates by Val Studio is accredited by the Better Business Bureau and the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA).
